We operates a number of GPR instruments with center frequencies ranging from 50 to 2600 MHz; all equipped with a GPS antenna continuously collecting real time data. GPR instruments operate by transmitting a radio signal or series of signals into the ground, then measuring the strength and travel-time required for the return of the reflected signals.
The data recorded provides information about changing ground characteristics with depth. Depth of investigation and data resolution are highly dependent on the site conditions and antenna frequency being used.
Application:
· Mining exploration
· Engineering projects
· Mapping pipeline and cable
· Mapping geological structure and lithology
· Acquiring high resolution cross section of natural geologic, hydo-geologic, and anomalous conditions
· Detecting changes in soil horizon and bedrock features
· Archeology
· Mapping
