We operates Model-G LaCoste & Romberg gravity meters, gravity and micro-gravity surveys are made up of gravity measurements made at discrete points with the resulting anomalies being directly related to lateral variations in subsurface density.
Applications:
· Oil and Gas exploration
· Geothermal
· Mining
· Geotechnical project
· Characterizing geologic structures
· Delineating buried valleys and bedrock topography
· Mapping erosion features
· Highly effective tool in identifying caves, weathered zones and man-made structures such as mines and tunnels.
Advantages:
· Low- cost compared to seismic programs
· Highly accurate
· Non-intrusive
· Not susceptible to cultural noise (measurements can be taken indoors)
· Data can be interpreted to provide estimates of depth, size, and nature of the anomalies
Ground gravity surveys have proven to be an excellent tool for identifying anomalies of interest for the oil and gas exploration, mining and environmental industries.
We have designed several land gravity surveys for major clients identifying targets such as fault locations, salt dome geometries, near surface anomalies caused by waste dumps as well as locating buried mine shafts.
The result datasets are then modeled using proprietary 2D and 3D gravity modeling software and integrated with other existing geophysical data, well information and surface geology. Variable density terrain correction techniques are also used for a complex area.
We uses state of the art GPS technology on gravity survey to allow a larger data coverage performed in a quick and effective cost manner.
